Hello...

My name is Vladimir Nikitenko, I live in Sharpsburg Georgia with my wife Diana and my three kids. For God, I work with the youth at my local church in Douglasville and do what I can to expand the kingdom of God with missionary work. I've had the pleasure of serving young people since 2014 and have had the chance to travel to Europe, Asia, South America, and Central America with various missionary groups. For a living, I am a financial planner and investment manager at SilverPenny Financial. In regards to education, I went to Georgia State University, and majored in Economics at Andrew Young school of policy studies, and minored in Risk Management and Insurance; later I went to UGA for my CFP®, and currently starting on my MBA at Georgia Tech.

My hope with this page is to be able to share my thoughts on matters of faith and life. As the title of the site, Am I Even Close?, most people look at others and think they have it figured out, but in reality, we all have lots of questions about where we are, where we should be, and what is really important. I am not saying i have all the answers, but if something I strongly believe, or something I learned can be useful to anyone else, I hope to share it...
